Mineral wool processing requires specialized machinery due to the unique properties of the material. Unlike polyurethane foam, mineral wool is abrasive, produces fine dust particles, and requires specific cutting techniques.

Wire cutting technology is the preferred method for mineral wool. The KPA type wire cutting machines use heated or unheated wire mounted on a moving body to cut precise shapes from mineral wool blocks. CNC control enables complex contour cutting with 3D capability.

The KPA 3D model features dual rotary tables — while one table is being loaded/unloaded outside the cutting zone, the other is inside the machine performing cuts. This dramatically increases production throughput.

Horizontal-diagonal machines (PS type) with 2 or 4 cutting units can perform multiple cuts in a single material pass — horizontal, diagonal, and vertical cuts simultaneously. Conveyor belt systems with synchronized clamps ensure accurate material feeding.

Dust extraction is critical in mineral wool processing. All our mineral wool machines include integrated dust collection systems to maintain a clean working environment and protect operator health.
